I'm Alvaro, I was born in Madrid, 1987.

Me, always building as a child

Since I was a 3 years-old, I have always been passionate about drawing and building. As a teenager, when I started collecting my first figures in 1999. The most I ever did was make small touch-ups—never considering it as a serious pursuit.

'Piesplanos', my first "customized" miniature with Green Stuff in 2008.

My professional path initially took a different direction. I studied Software Development and spent ten years working (2010-2020) on various IT projects, putting aside my artistic interests. However, after the 2020 pandemic, I realized I needed a change. At 33 ("too old" some would say) I decided to rethink my future and embarked on a four-year artistic training program (09-2020//07-2024) at a private art school in Madrid.

This is me on my traditional sculpture aula in sept 2023.

At first, my goal was to improve my drawing skills and see where that path would take me. But then I discovered sculpture, and everything changed. Not only did I have a natural talent for it, but it completely captivated me. My passion grew even stronger when I delved into digital sculpture and ZBrush, where I gained significant recognition both inside and outside the school.

That was the moment I made my final decision—to fully dedicate myself to my true passion and pursue a career as a sculptor of figures and miniatures.

Since I finished school (Jun 2024) until now, I haven't stopped working on build my dream, making figures and miniatures of different sizes, but above all going much deeper into 35mm scale.

I also collab with other sculptors like Fanath_miniatures and I would like to collaborate with more brands to make designs of all kinds of figures.
